Freelance Whales
By far the best release of the week is by Freelance Whales. This group from Queens has done an excellent job putting together an album that is truly a joy to listen to, and the cover art rules.

Andy Shauf
While it seemed to be somewhat of a lackluster music day, Andy Shauf released a 4 song EP with a video of him playing each song included on iTunes, all for $2.99. It is a simple acoustic set, but Andy’s work is always great. I highly recommend his full-length, Darker Days.
